COVID-19 vaccine gets thumbs-up from Thurston

Johnathan and Samantha Thurston visited our new Townsville Community Vaccination Centre last week to get their first COVID-19 vaccination.
The duo said they were both very happy to get the vaccination and do their part for the community.
"I was excited to come down and get my jab," Johnathan said.
"The more we can get behind this as a community the quicker we can get back to doing everything we love.
"It wasn't even a question for us, it was just the right thing to do and we're really excited to come back for our second vaccination."
The team did ask if the vaccination hurt; however, Johnathan just laughed 🤷 We guess getting tackled during a State of Origin or North Queensland Toyota Cowboys game hurts a little more!
