Parking at Townsville University Hospital
There are two public car parks located at Townsville University Hospital - one in front of the main entrance and another next to the entrance of the Townsville Cancer Centre.
Cost
All cars which enter the car park are issued with a parking ticket that entitles them to 60 minutes free parking.
If you want the freedom to come and go from the car park, you can purchase a parking pass from the hospital’s main entrance. Weekly multi-use tickets are available for $10 or you can get a 24-hour multi-use ticket for $5. Our pay stations accept card (Visa and Mastercard) and cash (coins and notes) only.
You can also purchase a $50 three-month multi-use ticket from the cashier desk located in the front foyer next to the pharmacy. This pass can then be renewed for $30 every three months.
You can also skip the queue at the pay station and tap your credit card as you leave the carpark. This payment is for a single exit from the car park and does not allow visitors to return.
Cost breakdown:
- $5 – 24-hour multi-use ticket
- $10 – seven-day multi-use ticket
- $50 – three-month multi-use card (which can be renewed for $30 every three months).
