In addition to the state-of-the-art cancer facility at Townsville University Hospital, the centre also provides specialist cancer services to patients in rural, remote and Indigenous communities via telehealth. We are committed to reaching as many patients as possible, and giving them the opportunity to be treated closer to their homes and support networks.
Our multidisciplinary teams include doctors, nurses and allied health professionals who meet regularly to plan treatment options for patients recently diagnosed with cancer and to review existing treatment plans during and after treatment. By working closely together, our clinicians can ensure they are provide the best possible care and treatment outcomes for our patients.
The Townsville Cancer Centre has a dedicated parking area and separate entrance to ensure ease of access for our patients. There is also a drop off and pickup area directly in front of the facility for patients.
